Device contacts may be accessed when you make person to person, real time, or online bill payments. Device location may be accessed to detect and prevent fraudulent transactions and to provide you branch and ATM locations. The information we collect and use about you helps us to maintain the security of your accounts with us, improve the customer service we provide to you, and operate more efficiently.

There also is information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by Planters and Citizens Bank. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses. • Flash objects: As part of our solutions for online authentication, we use Flash objects (sometimes referred to as “Local Shared Objects”) to help us recognize you and your device when you come back to our online services. For our pages running Adobe® Flash® content (demos and tutorials with moving content), we use Flash objects to determine your browser type and version of Adobe Flash in order for you to view the content. We do not use Flash objects for any online behavioral advertising purposes. Deleting cookies does not delete Flash objects. You can learn more about Flash objects - including how to control and disable them - through the Adobe interface. If you choose to disable Flash objects from our Site, then you may not be able to access and use all or part of our websites or benefit from the information and services offered.

• Click Stream Auditing: This process collects and analyzes information such as a web user’s IP address, web pages which referred a user to our website, date and time, domain type, and when a web user has responded to an advertisement.

• IP Address: Your IP Address is a number that is automatically assigned to the device that you are using by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). An IP Address is identified and logged automatically in our server log files whenever a user visits our websites, along with the time of the visit and the page(s) that were visited. Collecting IP Addresses is standard practice on the internet and is done automatically by many web sites. We use IP Addresses for purposes such as calculating website usage levels, helping diagnose server problems, to personalize/tailor your experience while engaging with us online and offline, for compliance and security purposes, for advertising, and administering the Site. Aggregated and De-identified Data: Aggregated and De-identified Data is data that we may create or compile from various sources, including but not limited to accounts and transactions. This information, which does not identify individual account holders, may be used for our business purposes, which may include offering products or services, research, marketing or analyzing market trends, and other purposes consistent with applicable laws.

Additional Information

Third party widgets – We may allow certain widgets (e.g., social share buttons) on our websites that enable users to easily share information on another platform, such as a social media platform. The third parties that provide these widgets may have access to information about your browsing on pages of our websites where these widgets are placed. You may wish to review information at the third-party site, such as social media platforms where you have an account, to determine how these third parties collect and treat such information. Planters and Citizens Bank’s Card Controls periodically collects, transmits, and uses geolocation information for enabling features that prevent fraudulent card use and alerts, but only if the End User expressly authorizes collection of such information. Geolocation Information can be monitored on a continuous basis in the background only while the Solution is being used or not at all, depending on the End User’s selection. The End User can change his/her/their location permissions at any time in their device settings.



Advertising

Planters and Citizens Bank’s advertises online (through our websites and mobile applications, through our social media presences, and on other sites and mobile apps not affiliated with (P & C Bank) and offline (in our bank’s physical sites, through call centers, and through direct marketing).

We use third party advertising and media companies to serve ads on our behalf across the internet and to help manage and optimize our internet business and digital communications. These networks use both cookies and pixel tag technology, which do not contain your personally identifiable information, to assist us in measuring the effectiveness of our ads. These technologies work by using your visits to other websites to provide information to us about goods and services that may be of particular interest to you.

We limit these networks from using the information collected by these cookies and pixel tags for any purpose other than to assist us in our advertising efforts. From time to time, we also may share anonymous information with such third-party companies in an aggregate form, for purposes of analysis and improvement of our website.

Planters and Citizens Bank uses the information described in this Statement to help advertise our products and services. We use this information to:
