To check the status of your stimulus payment please go to:

Stimulus direct deposits have begun to arrive. Please set up your deposit account to alert you when the payment is received by logging into Online Banking at and once logged in click on the Settings tab. Scroll to the top of the page and choose the Alerts tab and then Alerts Listing. Click Edit Alert Events in the green area on the right of the screen. Click Email and Login on the Receiving Incoming ACH Credit alert type. Click Submit. You will now receive an email and/or be alerted upon login when your stimulus ACH deposit is received into your account.

You may also check your deposit account using our mobile banking application. Please go to the App Store for iPhone or the Google App Store for Android phones to download the Planters and Citizens-Mobile application.

We only receive direct deposits three times per day, so setting up the alert is your best solution for being notified of the deposit. You may also call our telephone banking system at 229-336-5271 and choose Option 1 to be transferred to our P & C Bank Telephone Banking System. Please follow the prompts to access your account.

If you are expecting a stimulus check instead of a direct deposit from the Treasury, then the check will be mailed directly to the address on your most recent filed tax return. It will not be mailed to the bank.
